Helen A. Queen

	Helen A. Queen, 88, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formerly of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at the Kenosha Memorial Hospital in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
	Helen was a homemaker and attended the First United Methodist Church in DuQuoin.
	 She was born April 24, 1913 at Tamaroa, the daughter of Everett and Emma (Krone) Thompson.  She married John M. Queen on January 17, 1946 at St. Louis, Mo. and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1986.
	She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Thompson of Kenosha, Wis.; grandchildren, Alan Thompson of Racine, Wis., David Thompson of Kenosha, Wis. Deborah Edmark of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Penney Thompson of Kenosha, Wis; two sisters, Elmira Lagatutta of Chicago and Lucille Tunica of St. Louis, Mo; brother, Kenneth Thompson of Tamaroa and five great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
	Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Carl Mesiti officiating.
	 Friends called from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
	 Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park at DuQuoin.
